Song Interpretation/Monologue Workshop
With
Betty Buckley
Presented by the T. Schreiber Studio in NYC
(New York, NY) The T. Schreiber Studio welcomes back Legendary Broadway Star Betty Buckley for a 4 day Song Interpretation and Monologue Workshop in February.
Following her successful, critically acclaimed run of her new show “Ah, Men! The Boys of Broadway!” at the prestigious NYC Cabaret Feinstein’s,
Stephen Holden of The New York Times says
"Ms. Buckley has never been in better voice...[Her] show is a witty,
powerfully sung female occupation of male territory, waged with good humor and
gusto." "There's an unbridled joy in
listening to her tackle completely new additions to her repertoire... Her
finest outing ever," raves Brian Scott Lipton, Theatremania.com. And then Andrew Gans,
Playbill.com joins in, "Buckley proved that she would be equally adept at
playing just about every major male role in the musical theatre." "Like entering a Rolls Royce, taking
your seat in Feinstein's at Loews Regency to see a headliner, is your start of
an unparalleled ride. Betty Buckley is
that kind of experience," adds Stephen Sorokoff,
BroadwayWorld.com
Ms. Buckley shares her expertise and guides her students
through a methodology that facilitates audience connection through songs and
monologues. Her emotional connection to
songs and audiences is renowned, and that very connection is at the heart of
what Ms. Buckley imparts to her students.
The February Workshop consists of four class sessions:
Feb. 12 from 4:30 to 9pm and Feb. 13, 14, & 15 from 6:30pm to 11pm. Classes will be held at Chelsea Studios. An accompanist will be provided. For further details and to arrange an
